Bangladesh-Brazil relations refer to the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Brazil. Brazil and Bangladesh have not had formal diplomatic relations for a long time. In 2010, a Bangladeshi embassy was established in Brazil and a resident ambassador was appointed. At present there is a Brazilian embassy in Bangladesh. Trade relations between the two countries are improving rapidly.

Cooperation in international forums
In 2013, at the Human Rights Council, Brazil asked Bangladesh for their support. They also sought Bangladesh's support for its temporary membership in the UN Security Council in 2017-18. In 2014, Brazil supported Bangladesh for its position at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. Bangladesh also supports Brazil for the World Trade Organization . Brazil provided 3 million for disaster management in Bangladesh.
Culture, education and agricultural cooperation
In 2011, Brazil proposed to sign an agreement on cooperation in various potential sectors such as agriculture, health, education and sports. In 2014, Brazil expressed interest in cooperating in the agricultural development of Bangladesh.
Economic Relations In 2015, the bilateral trade between the two countries was 1 billion US dollars . Brazil's main exports are agricultural products, such as sugar. Bangladesh exports jute, readymade garments and pharmaceutical products to Brazil. Bangladesh's microfinance sector, especially Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank, is seen by Brazilians as an important model.
