Bangladesh-Belarus relations


Bangladesh-Belarus relations refer to the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Belarus . Although the two countries officially started diplomatic relations in 1992, there is no permanent resident ambassador in either country .

High-level overview 

Relations between the two countries have been strained since Mikhail Myasnikovic paid his first state visit to Belarus in November 2012 . On July 8, 2013, the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina visited the Republic of Belarus.


The two countries signed an agreement on cooperation in various fields, including trade, education , agriculture , technology, and defense.

Humanitarian aid 

The Belarusian government will provide  15 million to Bangladesh for long-term support to Bangladesh's ready-made garment industry.
